A trained clinical herbalist in practice since 2024 and a registered nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience, I’m a lifelong student of the healing wisdom held in people and plants and our mother, Earth. My background in the science of Western medicine and the intuitive, time-honored practices of earth-based plant medicine allow me to offer home-based care that is gentle, grounded, and whole-person focused.
I am of Norwegian and German ancestry, and I use those roots to practice a grounded way of life that embraces herbal medicine, seasonal cycles, and natural healing; while also believing in the use of pharmaceutical medicine when necessary.
I created Nurse & Nettle to offer care that mirrors those values — deeply rooted, quietly powerful, guided by connection. Like the mycorrhizal networks beneath our feet that support and nourish life unseen, I aim to be a steady presence for those in need of healing and support. I look forward to working with you.
